The Johnson Home is being shaped around two rhythms: the ease of an ordinary day and the energy of a house full of family and friends.

The design conversations move between both. How far do groceries travel from the garage? Where will serving pieces live between gatherings? Which rooms benefit most from windows? How can the home welcome guests while preserving places to retreat?
As the plan developed, the team explored a more private setting for outdoor living, reconsidered the relationship between bedrooms and the theater, and refined the home’s architectural character. Each revision became a way to make the spaces work more naturally together.
